An insight into what is taking us so long!

We have had so much movement in the lat few weeks. We have officialy singed our first band ‘Afterglow’ and we have another big announcement just around the corner. We are working towards our vision and it takes time to build.

The website is a huge task and when we had our original idea we did not know how much tech it would take to bring it to life. We want to make a site that bands have control of, so they can upload their tunes, write blogs and then share them effortlessly with Facebook etc. We want the site to be a home for our bands and not just a crappy list of who we have on our roster. We are laying the foundation so we can easily grow in the future, and this is what is taking time! The backend of the website needs to work in a unique way so we can maintain a huge level of control.

We need a webiste with a solid foundation, so we are not tripped up in the future. Aside form the website, we have been working closely with our bands as they all change things up and scramble to deliver new content. We want to have a unique brand, and we are very confident that we can be a very different ‘Record Label’. We have had some great help along the way.

We have some dedicated people spreading the word of lost pop by giving out flyers for us all over the country, and we have some bloggers who we want to work with in the future so we can live blog from events, stream gigs, and share our content.
